Lifting her head from where she's let it rest against her knees, Chrissy looks up at him, brow furrowing when she realizes he's holding a large envelope out to her along with the glass of water. Her confusion only grows when she reaches out for both and finds her name handwritten on the envelope in question. In the face of everything, she hasn't been able to dwell as much as she probably should have on the fact that she doesn't know where she is or how she got here. She's just followed along with Eddie, not entirely sure why she feels so safe with him, only that she does.
That's still true, but it's more than a little confusing why there would be anything waiting for her in his apartment. No one should have known she would be here. It doesn't make sense. None of this does.
