Chrissy frowns, watching him as she tries to process this information. As insane as it sounds, she knows without hesitation that she believes him. Talking about his clothes being vintage now could possibly have been a joke, but this is clearly serious. It's just all but impossible to try to wrap her head around. Thirty-six years is a long time, her whole lifetime again twice over. Of course, it's also not even close to being the strangest thing about all of this, but in a strange way, it's easier to latch on to the elements that are bizarre but ultimately inconsequential. Better that, at least, than thinking about what happened to her.
