It means more than Chrissy would have expected, that he actually seems to like what she's given him. Really, it's just a silly little necklace, one that came to seem even more so after she showed up here, having pinned her hopes on a year that she didn't even make it three months into. By passing it on, though, it can mean something again. She doesn't really know how to say that, beyond what she's said already — how to convey that it's not so much about the necklace itself as what it signifies — but she hopes that he gets it anyway.

The arrival of their drinks is a welcome distraction, preventing her from overthinking this or second-guessing herself too much. She smiles, just a little, when she sees his fingers brush the gold charm she wore for so long, then looks up at Mina without missing a beat.
